I was excited to try the recipes in this book. The book is nice and easy reading an makes you want to break out the slow cooker. I've tried mine several times and the recipes have been fails, and I've been wanting to try again. When I got this book, I figured it's time to give it another shot! I tried the Morrocan Chicken last night. I have to say, crockpot recipes I've tried have been bland. The Moroccan chicken recipe had some flavor, but I think only because I had doubled the amount of dried spices. I served it over couscous and I liked it, but my guys only thought it was okay. The really like flavorful foods and we use a good bit of spice and herbs. This looks like another book with Americanized versions of international recipes. If you have a light palate, this book is for you. Otherwise you might need to be a bit more inventive with the spices.Product details

These recipes are tastes and easy to assemble. I love the variety. Dishes I would not have thought to put together.

The Slow Cooker Chicken Recipes book has some tasty recipes for you to use. The directions are simple and easy to follow. Tips are given on how to serve, which I found to be a big help.
There is about three recipes in this cookbook that I'll end up trying. Which aren't bad odds considering there's only about 20 recipes here. Some of the other I already make, but I put my own spin on it. Yep, I'd recommend this book.
This takes another boring chicken dinner and spins it on it's head. Eating healthier and saving money - now that's a one-two punch I could use. As a busy mother and business owner I am always looking for ways to save time and still give my family a wholesome meal. Slow Cooker Chicken is another great arrow in my quiver!
As I sat reading through the recipes all I could think about was getting out my slower cooker. I've used a slower cooker, but not has much as I should. The recipes were easy to understand and easy to follow. I took notes of a couple of the recipes that I am going to make. I've already added the ingredients I need to my shopping list.

I love cooking with a crock pot because we get home late and neither one of us wants to cook. There are usually two alternatives and that's eating out, which is expensive if you do it several times a week, or put something in the crock pot. I tried several of these recipes and they were good, not great. I would have liked to see pictures of the dishes and possibly nutritional guidelines. But for the price, it's just another good little book to have for more options when it comes time for supper.
